HILARIOUS: Lying To Get S3x May Now Become A Crime

There's a new bill that's being looked into in New Jersey that would make having s3x with someone by lying to them a crime. It's called S3xual Assault by deception. For instance, if there was somewhere that a burned lover could turn to if she discovered that the man who told her he was childless not only had a 10-year-old, but also a pregnant side chick? That would be considered a crime if the bill passes. Or if the person they're sleeping with showed them photos of a beautiful home he claimed to own but in reality was living in his parents' basement? In other words, if a woman is duped into having s3x they could have the man arrested. Mischele Lewis, a 37-year-old suburban-mom-turned-activist is the inspiration behind this bill in New Jersey. This bill was actually introduced late last year to make "sexual assault by fraud" a punishable offense. The bill defines it as "an act of sexual penetration to which a person has g...

I’ll Forever Remain Grateful to Alamieyeseigha – Jonathan

Former President GoodluckJonathan has paid tribute to his former boss, Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, for giving him a breakthrough in politics. Chief Alamieyeseigha picked Dr. Jonathan as running mate for the 1999 governorship election in Bayelsa State which they won. The former President went on to replace Alamieyeseigha as governor following his impeachment. He was preparing to seek re-election as governor in 2007 when he was drafted in as running mate to the late Alhaji Umaru Yar'Adua in that year's Presidential election. Speaking during  an interdenominational thanksgiving service organised by the Bayelsa State government as part of the grand reception in his honour in Yenagoa, yesterday Jonathan said he never dreamed of becoming  a commissioner in the state until Alamieyeseigha convinced him to become his running mate in 1999. "Without Alamieyeseigha, l wouldn't have been here talking about being a former President. Nobody w...

Britain to Assist Nigeria in Retrieving Looted Funds

THE British Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron has pledged more assistance for the country in tracking and retrieving looted public funds. Prime Minister in a goodwill message to President Muhammadu Buhari requested a list of what Nigeria wants to help succeed against the current challenges facing the country. He asked President Buhari to attend the forthcoming meeting of the "G7" industrialized nations with a "wish list". The summit is scheduled for June 7-9 in Berlin, Germany. The British Secretary for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Philip Hammond who delivered the message said:"We are waiting for your own list." This meeting was a follow-up to an earlier one between the then President-elect and Mr. Cameron in London during which commitments were given to the in-coming administration in several areas, including the fight against terrorism, power and energy and such matters of common concerns of migration challenges facing the contin...

Nigeria’s Challenges Will Stay For Long – John Campbell

A US official has predicted that the Boko Haram problem and economic challenges will remain for a long time. With the election of the new government Nigerians hope for a quick stabilization of economy and the elimination of the insurgency. President Muhammadu Buhari in his May 29 inauguration speech identified the major problems to be addressed during his first days in the office. They include terrorism and corruption. However, John Campbell, the former US  Ambassador to Nigeria, explained why the country should not expect immediate solutions. He was quoted as saying by The Punch: "Nigeria's challenges are great: Boko Haram and a huge population of internally displaced, a potential renewal of an insurrection in the oil patch, ubiquitous corruption, falling oil prices, labour unrest, and generally, a people by and large alienated from their government and their elites. "President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed for patience from the...

FOOTBALL: We’ve a Deadly Attack – Oshoala

Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has argued that if they can blend enough as a team, they will have the best attack at the tournament. The 20-year-old Liverpool Ladies forward is in the team, alongside Desire Oparanozie, Iniabasi Umotong, Courtney Dike and Francesca Ordega, and believes they will potentially have the deadliest frontline in Canada. "We have a very good attack and I think that is one thing that will work for us if we blend properly as a team," she said. "The most important thing is just for us to get a better understanding of one another, understand each person's strengths and that will give us an advantage." The Falcons will play Sweden in their opening fixture and Oshoala is expected to lead Nigeria's forward line but she says it will be a team effort and not just her. "I'm not the only one on the team, I have teammates and it's going to be a collective effort," she stated.

Britain Announces Fresh Support for Buhari to End Boko Haram

Apparently excited by the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria's new President, United Kingdom has openly declared its readiness to work closely with Nigeria to end its security and economic challenges. To start with, Britain says it is going to spearhead the group of seven developed nations (G-7 nations) to rally necessary support for Buhari to crush insurgency in Nigeria without further delay. British Foreign Secretary, Philip Hammond, announced the new posture of his country towards Nigeria while speaking with Vanguard in Abuja on Friday shortly after attending Buhari's inauguration as Nigeria's 5th civilian president. Hammond led British delegation to witness the swearing in of Buhari, who only returned to Nigeria on the eve of his inauguration, where he had gone to rub minds with Prime Minister, David Cameron, at Number 10 Downing Street. The foreign secretary said that apart from discussing Boko Haram challenges in G7 meeting coming up later, Britain...

POLITICS: Buhari Makes History on two Fronts

Muhammadu Buhari made history yesterday on two fronts: the first person to defeat an incumbent president in an election and also, as the first person in Nigeria's democratic history to have desired power and obtained it! The six other Nigerian civilian heads of state who preceded him bumped into office by happenstance. Sir Abubakar Tafawa, the first and only prime minister of the country was a proxy for the real leader of the country at the time, Sir Ahmadu Bello, who preferred to operate from Kaduna. The next civilian leader of the country, President Shehu Shagari had sought the Senate but intrigues within the ruling National Party of Nigeria, NPN edged out the power seekers like Alhaji Adamu Ciroma and Maitama Sule and Moshood Abiola. Others outside the NPN like Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe simply did not make it. The ill-fated Third Republic produced Chief Ernest Shonekan, who was foisted on the leadership of the country from the boardroom in ...

A UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE SPITS: My Parents are Using My Destiny to Get Wealth

In a series of shocking allegations that have left his parents heartbroken, a 21-year-old undergraduate, Demilade Osholonge, who was initially reported as kidnapped, has accused his father and mother of engaging in occultism which he alleged was behind the many spiritual attacks he had been experiencing since he was 17. Demilade spoke with our correspondent in hiding, maintaining that he would never return home to his father, Mr. Fatayi Osholonge, a lawyer and his mother, Olufunke, who is an evangelist. Soft-spoken, with a mien that gave a hint of the affluent home he came from (a fact he confirmed), Demilade went into a narration that sounded much like a story out of a novel. "It started when I was 10 years old and I started to see a young boy with blood coming out of his mouth. "Sometimes, I saw the boy in a dream, sometimes I saw him even when I was wide awake but I was always the only one seeing him. I told my parents about it but they waved it off as mere d...

Nigeria's Historic Transition: Open letter to the Key Players.

Image
Your Excellencies, I join the vast majority of Nigerians, who at this historic moment found it very important and thoughtful to put to writing their reflections about the March 28th 2015 Presidential election whose result birthed this historic transition. I belong to the category of Nigerians that played one of the most critical roles in the birth of this historic moment. I am a registered voter who confidently exercised his franchise in the polls. May I also reiterate the fact that I also belong to the category of Nigerians that get affected Positively/Negatively by all policies, problem(s), mistakes and/improper decisions of the Nigerian Government. That said, am delighted I could grab this rare opportunity to write and share my reflections about the polls and the historic transition with the ever attentive Nigerians. Congratulations to Dr Goodluck Jonathan GCFR, whose tenure constitutionally ends in a few hours. That may seem weird and improper because he "lost" at...

SCIENCE WORLD: Seven Women You Won’t Believe Actually Exist.

(1) SHARP TEETH WOMEN Beauty most certainly is in the eyes of the beholder, so we won't argue that certain cultures take beauty to all kinds of different extremes. In Indonesia, the Mentawai tribe believe that sharp, dagger-like teeth are the epitome of sexy. As soon as the women of this tribe hit adulthood, they undergo a rigorous dental process to file and sharpen their teeth. It's hard to believe that these women actually exist. After all, in our world 'beauty' means a pearly white smile with perfectly straight teeth. It's no secret that americans dish out millions if dollars each year on dental implants, veneers and teeth whitening to ensure their teeth are healthy and fresh. In fact, most people opt for dental crowns or head to an orthodontist for braces in order to get rid of pointy, uneven teeth. Who knows, maybe the Mentawai dental trend will catch on in North America. (2) HUGE LEGS – Mandy Sellars When Mandy was born, her own mother was...

COURT ORDERS NDLEA OPERATIVES TO VACATE KASHAMU’S HOUSE …Judgment is diversionary, laughable- NDLEA

A Federal High Court in Lagos has reportedly ordered the more than 50 operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to immediately vacate the Lagos residence of the senator-elect for Ogun East Senatorial District, Mr. Buruji Kashamu. According to Punch Newspaper, the NDLEA, whose operatives had laid siege on Kashamu's residence in Lagos since Saturday, said it had received a formal extradition request on Kashamu from the government of the United States of America and was coming to court to secure an extradition order. But Justice Ibrahim Buba, in a bench ruling on Tuesday afternoon, pronounced the action of the NDLEA as sub judice and ordered the men of the Nigerian police to ensure that NDLEA operatives vacate Kashamu's premises "without a free for all." However, when E24-7 MAGAZINE spoke with NDLEA's spokesman, Mitchell Ofoyeju on Monday, May 25th, concerning earlier reports that the Federal High Court had ordered the unconditi...

The meeting was held at the Sun View Hotel, Alagbaka, Akure, the Ondo State capital. It lasted for several hours with members of the State Executive Council in attendance. Fayose and Omirin, however, refused to answer questions from anxious reporters at the end of the meeting. They insisted that "we are not going to answer questions, but only make statement." The governor asked if Omirin was willing to answer questions from reporters, but the speaker said "no sir, we will just make a statement." Fayose said: "We have met in the interest of our dear state, Ekiti, which is bigger than the interest of any individual or party. "We are here for peace to reign in our state. Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu, who has been placed under house arrest over a drug related crime, failed to appear in court on Monday Kashamu is being closely monitored by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in his Lekki, Lagos, home. The Head, Public Affairs of NDLEA, Mr.  Ofoyeju Mitchell, said, the agency is working hard to ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party chieftain submits himself to the due process of the law. According to Mitchell, the extradition move initiated by the NDLEA for Kashamu to answer drug trafficking charges in the United States, is legal. "The agency has not violated his rights and will continue to work within the confines of the law. He has been assured that due process of the law shall be adhered to at every stage. "NDLEA is the appropriate government agency to implement his extradition request and will diligently pursue the processes to a logical conclusion. It is expected that Kashamu will willing...

NLC May Direct Workers to Stay at Home – Aremu

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) on Monday threatened to direct workers to stay at home if the fuel scarcity being experienced across the country persisted. The NLC Deputy National President, Isa Aremu stated this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Kaduna. The NLC statement is coming barely four days before the PDP led government would hand over the affairs of the nation to the new President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, May 29. "If the Current scarcity and price robbery of Nigerians continues NLC will have no choice but compel workers to stay at home. "Workers certainly cannot fuel themselves to work with their blood. There is limit to slavery and state marketers' extortion. "With an outgiong president and incoming one, five past heads of state alive, 36 state governors and hundreds of legislators and scores of ministers, no country on earth parades the highest number of state actors like Nigeria. ...

How We Arrested Alleged Drug Kingpin, Buruji Kashamu — NDLEA

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ahmadu Giade, Sunday explained how the agency was able to get alleged drug trafficker, now Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu, under house arrest in Lagos. Officials of the agency had on Saturday stormed the Lekki home of Kashamu, who was allegedly nick-named "God" in the US, and got him restrained therein. Thisday reported that before NDLEA Officials coukd place Kashamu on house arrest, the agency had disarmed the personal guards of the alleged drug peddling, manning his gates. The statement went on to state that as at the time of his arrest, the agency allowed Kashamu's legal attorneys – Daniel Onamusi and Barrister Oloyede – and close family members, including his wife and adult daughters, to speak with him and attest to his well-being. The agency said the house arrest was preparatory to his being extradited to the United States of America, where he would be ...

Scarcity: NNPC Raises Hope

The lingering fuel scarcity may continue till next month, considering marketers' insistence on being paid the balance of over N200billion subsidy arrears owed them by the Federal Government. It was learnt that the situation is getting worse because the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) can only meet 50 per cent of the national demand and the oil marketers that supply the remaining 50 per cent have refused to import since last month. The Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr. Ohi Alegbe, said the Corporation has 25 days stock but noted that the scarcity got worse because of the workers' strike. Alegbe said: "As we speak, we have 25 days sufficiency. Although we (NNPC) import only 50 per cent of national demand, the scarcity is not supposed to be this severe. The situation was worsened by the strike embarked upon by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (...

Ekiti Violence Has Fayose Written All Over It – APC

The Ekiti State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC,‎ has alleged that the violence across the state smacks of government's grand design. A statement by the party's Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, on Friday, said, "Governor Ayodele Fayose should be held responsible for various acts of violence in the state". According to the APC spokesman, the current wave of violence in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital had all the trappings of the usual government-orchestrated violent acts to achieve a premeditated end. Mr. Olatunbosun regretted that Ekiti people were used to the government-inspired violent acts, which they experienced between 2003 and 2006 during Fayose's first stint, and expressed concern that the people had developed apathy to what is going on. He said, 'We had on several occasions raised the alarm over importation of thugs who are quartered in the Government House. Since their arrival, Ekiti State has slid into the era of ...

TALE OF A GUY: My Woman Deceived Me With Fake Ikebe And B0obs

I am really upset, disappointed and angry. I have been dating this lady for about a year now and I had made up my mind to settle down with her. I really like her because she is exceptional in many rewards. When we started dating, she told me of how she would like to honour our relationship by not having s*x before marriage. Although, she told me that she is not a virgin. I accepted because well I was 32 and she was 25 and I am a good man who just want to good lady for a wife. But some how along the line of our relationship after we had our formal introduction with both families, we got carried away and we agreed to have s*x. It was during the action that I noticed that my fiancee had very small "oranges" and her "ikebe" is very flat. All the while, she has been wearing stuffed bra and butt to accentuate the stuff. I really like this babe, but I am not sure I can stand a girl with small oranges and flat behind. My parents are pressuring me to ge...
