Why I Dumped Five Star Music And Set Up My Own Record Label

Singer and songwriter Harrison Tare Okiri has dumped record label Five Star music.
The 35-year-old Reggae Blues star says he is setting up his own music label, Alter Plate

HarrySong disclosed this during an interview with Planetradio TV.

He said he was not appreciated at Five Star music, staing that his contract with the label had expired a long time ago.

He said, "What bothers me is not the work, it's the appreciation….. You're helping someone that knows nothing and the person is feeling like he is helping you. You write a song for someone and the person is telling you, 'it's when I sing your song, you blow'. It's childishness."
