BREAKING NEWS: Ali Modu Sheriff emerges new PDP National Chairman
A former governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff, on Tuesday emerged the new chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, who announced this at the party's national secretariat in Abuja, said all organs of the party, including, the national caucus, the governors' forum and the national assembly caucuses agreed on Sherffi's choice as chairman.
The decision, according to Metuh, would be communicated to the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) and the National Executive Committee (NEC) for ratification.
